Fenomeno Incel tra Dismorfofobia, Autismo e Abilismo – Parte X

Conclusione

Riassumendo, analizzando il fenomeno incel ci siamo trovati davanti a diverse e numerose scoperte: la normalizzazione del Virgin Shaming e il suo “rebranding” come “Incel Shaming”; un Abilismo contro gli uomini autistici (estremamente frequenti in ambito incel) a cui la società suggerisce (in maniera discriminante, vista la loro neurodiversità) di “coltivare le skills sociali”; l’Heightism o discriminazione contro gli uomini bassi; le aspettative della società sugli uomini a provvedere economicamente e a proteggere le donne, che portano molti uomini, tra cui gli incel, a fuggire e a cercare di scappare da una tale pressione, percepita come troppo alta; l’Incel Shaming come un nuovo “repackaging” delle Tasse sui Celibi, della Scapolofobia/Celibefobia o “Bachelorphobia” e dei pregiudizi che la società tradizionale aveva sugli scapoli, percepiti come “gay nascosti” e/o come “criminali”.

Abbiamo scoperto inoltre che gli incel hanno standard più bassi – e non più alti – nelle loro preferenze nei confronti di potenziali partner, e che sono in realtà meno violenti – e non più violenti – della popolazione generale.
Abbiamo analizzato inoltre la Legge di Foppington, e notato come la fissazione sulla forma e dimensione del proprio teschio o cranio e delle ossa facciali sia condivisa tra Incel e comunità Trans su 4chan.
Abbiamo riscontrato che gli incel tendono al pensiero “tutto-o-nulla”, sono a rischio suicidario estremamente alto, soffrono di ansia e altri disturbi della salute mentale, tra cui soprattutto la Dismorfofobia o Disturbo da Dismorfismo Corporeo, che però al posto di essere sfidato, spesso viene alimentato da una invalidazione reciproca dell’aspetto fisico e della condizione personale, che arriva spesso ad etichettare come “bragging” (“vantarsi”) i tentativi di chiunque provi a uscire dalla condizione di incel. Tuttavia, abbiamo notato come oltre a gruppi incel non-supportivi, ve ne siano di supportivi, che potrebbero essere assimilati a una proto-terapia di gruppo, e che però dovrebbero essere affiancati da psicologi e psicoterapeuti, per riuscire a captare e potenzialmente salvare individui a rischio suicidario.

Infine, abbiamo notato che, sebbene gli incel siano meno e non più violenti della popolazione generale, quando diventano violenti il loro principale target sono altri uomini (i “Chad”) più che le donne. Per questo motivo, abbiamo evidenziato come sia necessario agire per sensibilizzare sulle vittime maschili dell’odio redpillato (o “Chad Shaming“) e come dovremmo, come società, contrastare gli stereotipi alla base, come il Pig Shaming e i pregiudizi sulla minor intelligenza degli uomini atletici e che curano il, o tengono al, proprio aspetto, cercando al contempo di sradicare l’Empathy Gap che non ci permette di cogliere le vittime maschili dei vari fenomeni sociali e rischi societari.
